Hunter Properties is a fast-growing, multi-community property management company with four regions located throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

 

We are looking for Maintenance Supervisors who will show leadership qualities, ensure resident safety, understand and respect diverse communities, and will adhere to Equal Opportunity Housing regulations.


The Maintenance Supervisor will:

·        Schedule, assign and help perform preventative maintenance

·        Maintain tools and equipment to ensure it is operational

·        Manage inventory/supply levels to avoid shortages

·        Prepare rent-ready plan

·        Schedule approved vendors and staff for turn

·        Schedule and manage on-call duties

Other duties will include general maintenance/repairs including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, basic carpentry, light painting, and grounds keeping. The Maintenance Supervisor will also prepare all make-ready plans, repairs, and services by scheduling approved vendors and staff. 

 

Job Type: Full-time. Local travel required

REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

·        2+ years supervisory and maintenance experience in hospitality or multi-family industry

·        EPA Certification

·        Valid Driver’s License

·        Reliable transportation

·        Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds, bend, stoop, climb ladders, stepstools, and stairs on a regular basis.

·        Available for on-call rotation—some weekends

·        Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as all company policies and procedures

 

Preferred:

·        HVAC certification

We are looking for Leasing Consultants who have great customer service skills, provide a welcoming atmosphere to current and future residents, understand and respect diverse communities and will adhere to Equal Opportunity Housing regulations.


Other duties include but are not limited to answering prospect and resident emails, entering maintenance requests, conducting community and model apartment tours, processing applications and notifying prospects of results, accepting payments, explaining written materials to residents and prospects, maintaining resident records, assisting community manager as requested and needed and ensuring office, clubhouse, fitness center, model apartment and overall appearance of community is well maintained. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

·        Valid Driver’s License

·        Reliable Vehicle

·        Weekend/Saturday availability

·        High School Diploma Preferred:

·        Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook

·        Property management experience

We are looking for Maintenance Technicians who will show

maintenance knowledge or ability to learn job duties, ensure resident safety, understand and respect diverse communities, and will adhere to Equal Opportunity Housing regulations.


Other duties will include general maintenance/repairs including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, basic carpentry, light painting and groundskeeping. The Maintenance Technician will also follow all make-ready plans, repair requests, on-call duties, and routine maintenance services as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. 

 

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time. Local travel required
